Tony Pullaro is an acclaimed marketing/PR pro, social media enthusiast and indefatigable epicure all in one. Kudos to his background in social entertainment and his passion for creative branding and public relations. He has seamlessly blended these ideals into a viable, fanciful hospitable career as Marketing & PR Manager for numerous restaurants in Tampa, Florida—a plum path seemingly determined from birth.

Born and raised in Tampa by a Cuban-born mother and a Sicilian father, Pullaro is an indigenous epitome of a true Tampanian. His parents met serendipitously in a car accident circa 1974, oddly enough, in front of a Tampa Bay restaurant. In his eyes, this real-life romantic comedy-drama would foreshadow his amazing story.

At the University of Tampa, he embarked on his initial journey into broadcast journalism. Yet, like many, he changed his course and found his path of purpose when he heard a voice calling him from the world of marketing and PR, and found it to be the ideal creative outlet for his love of aesthetics and media.

Pullaro’s true calling has enabled him to professionally indulge in many incredible media and celeb experiences. These include scarfing down doughnuts with Ms. Paula Deen; landing the first “Eat Like Jesse” segment on Good Morning America with correspondent, former NFL quarterback and former TV Bachelor Jesse Palmer; branding and working alongside Food Network personality Dr. BBQ, Ray Lampe; and promoting HLN’s Tums Ultimate Tailgate, hosted by NFL pro Coy Wire for the National Championship College Football Playoff of 2017. Pullaro and his husband, Michael Coon, volunteer in the community with schools serving socio-economically disadvantaged students, annually working with the Humane Society of Tampa Bay to arrange animal adoptions and is a member of the LGBT Community serving in the Balance Tampa Bay Network.
